Lagos, Nigeria – Wema Bank, widely recognized as Nigeria’s most innovative bank, has launched the 2026 Hackaholics Accelerator Program, welcoming ten startups into its latest cohort. The program aims to help promising Nigerian startups strengthen their business foundations, scale sustainably, and attract investment.
The selected startups include Farmslate, Ploy, Stocmed, Feest (Chao), Varsityscape, MamaAlert, Sane, Cyclex, Kieva, and Loocomo, all drawn from the top 10 performing finalists of Hackaholics 6.0.

Commenting on the launch, Wema Bank MD/CEO Moruf Oseni said:

The program is designed to support startups beyond ideation, offering mentorship, training, and access to networks needed to scale effectively.
Structured Growth Path
Chief Transformation Officer Babatunde Mumuni explained that the 2026 cohort startups already have market-ready products and early traction.
“These startups bring unique solutions to real challenges across different sectors. Hackaholics Accelerator provides the environment to strengthen those foundations through hands-on mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to the right networks.”
The program will feature training sessions led by industry experts, mentorship, and guidance on best practices for scaling businesses.

Since 2019, Hackaholics has become one of Nigeria’s leading youth innovation platforms, attracting over 15,000 applicants and supporting hundreds of digital solutions across industries. Through the initiative, Wema Bank has disbursed more than $400,000 in funding to Nigerian innovators and startup founders.
Successful Alumni and Growth Legacy
Previous program participants like Feegor, Myitura, and Bunce demonstrate Hackaholics’ focus on helping startups move from ideas to growth-ready companies. The 2026 Accelerator builds on this legacy by providing the tools, networks, and mentorship required for sustainable expansion.
