The Forum of Past Councillors (FPC), Ikeja Federal Constituency, has congratulated its chairman and four other members on their appointments and swearing-in as supervisors and special adviser in Ikeja Local Government.
In a statement issued on Thursday and signed by the Forum’s General Secretary, Hon. Azeez Aladeyelu, the group described the appointments as well-deserved recognitions of the appointees’ experience and commitment to grassroots governance.
Those sworn in as Supervisors in Ikeja Local Government include Hon. Edward Aragbonfoh JP, Hon. Adeshola Adeniyi, Hon. Femi Adeyemi, and Hon. Ayotunde Adenuga, while Hon. Gani Oladeji was appointed as Special Adviser.
The forum expressed appreciation to its Grand Patron and leader, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) James Abiodun Faleke, the Ikeja Local Government apex leadership, and the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), for entrusting the appointees with key responsibilities in the council.
According to the statement, the forum is confident that the newly appointed officials will deploy their wealth of experience and dedication to support the administration of Chairman Dauda and contribute meaningfully to the development of Ikeja Local Government.
The Forum of Past Councillors also reaffirmed its loyalty and commitment to the ideals of the progressive party and pledged continued support for leadership at all levels.
The group further assured that it would remain focused and steadfast in promoting good governance and strengthening grassroots political engagement within Ikeja Federal Constituency.
