Child Abuse Incident Reported “Father at-large” 

A case of child abuse was reported at the Elere Police Division in Orile Agege, Lagos. The head teacher of a local primary school brought the matter to the authorities after an 11-year-old female pupil confided in her that her father, identified as Kadiri Yusuf, also known as Alado, had physically assaulted her, causing bodily injuries. 

The young girl also revealed that her elder brother, aged 13, had been similarly beaten and injured by their father. Both children were immediately taken into protective care, treated for their injuries, and handed over to their maternal aunt for safe custody.

The father, Kadiri Yusuf, is currently on the run, and efforts to apprehend him are underway. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
