President Tinubu Courts Qatar Investors, Promises Direct Access to Report Bribery

In a bid to boost foreign investment, President Bola Tinubu has extended a warm welcome to Qatari investors, affirming Nigeria’s commitment to fostering a conducive business environment. At the Nigeria-Qatar Business and Investment Forum in Doha, Tinubu emphasized his administration’s resolve to tackle corruption head-on, urging investors to report any instances of bribery or corruption directly to his office for swift action.

Addressing the gathering, Tinubu reassured attendees of ongoing reforms aimed at streamlining processes and eliminating barriers to legitimate business operations. He urged investors to refrain from engaging in bribery and pledged unfettered access to his office for those who encounter such challenges.

Tinubu’s remarks underscored Nigeria’s determination to shed its past reputation and embrace a future defined by transparency and accountability. With a clear message to investors and a commitment to stamping out corruption, Tinubu’s appeal aims to instill confidence in Nigeria’s economic prospects and attract much-needed foreign investment.
