President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, have paid glowing tribute to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, as he marks his 84th birthday on March 2, 2026.
In a heartfelt message, the President described Pastor Adeboye as “one of our nation’s greatest gifts” and a “spiritual fortress,” noting his unwavering intercession for Nigeria and its people.
President Tinubu praised the revered cleric’s humility and profound wisdom, stating that his influence extends far beyond the pulpit. According to him, Pastor Adeboye’s contributions to national development span philanthropy, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.
The President and First Lady celebrated what they described as the grace of stewardship and leadership upon the life of the cleric, fondly known as Daddy G.O., acknowledging his exceptional impact that transcends cultures and borders.
They joined Pastor Adeboye’s wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, members of the RCCG, and the broader Christian community in expressing gratitude to God for his life of service and dedication.
The presidential couple also commended his patriotic zeal, manifest determination, and long-standing commitment to Nigeria’s progress, highlighting that his teachings over the past five decades have continued to shape and transform lives across generations within the country and beyond.
As he celebrates his 84th birthday, President Tinubu and the First Lady prayed for God Almighty to grant Pastor Adeboye continued good health and strength as he carries on his work in the Lord’s vineyard.
