The Women Rescue and Firefighters Forum WRFFF, a leading Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO dedicated to supporting and empowering women in the vital fields of rescue and firefighting, today announced the launch of a comprehensive public appeal for donations.
However, our mission is to help women in Rescue, emergency and firefighting to give strength, educate and advocate for them and ensure their welfare. We are set to take care of the children of women who sustain injuries and or die while on duties .
This initiative seeks to garner support from all stakeholders, well-meaning Nigerians, and the wider public to bolster WRFFF’s crucial mission of advancing the capabilities of women in emergency response and strengthening community resilience across Nigeria.

WRFFF plays a pivotal role in providing essential training, resources, and advocacy for women working in the challenging and often dangerous environments of rescue and firefighting. The organization is committed to improving their working conditions, equipping them with the latest tools and techniques, and fostering a supportive network that enables them to thrive in their professions. Furthermore, WRFFF actively works to raise awareness about the critical contributions of women in emergency services and advocates for their increased representation in these vital roles.
We need your help to continue our noble humanitarian Service.
The funds raised through this public appeal will be strategically allocated to a range of impactful projects, including:

  • Advanced Training Programs: Providing specialized training in areas such as hazardous materials handling, advanced first aid, and urban search and rescue.
  • Essential Equipment Procurement: Purchasing state-of-the-art firefighting and rescue equipment to ensure women have the tools they need to perform their duties effectively and safely.
  • Community Outreach and Education: Conducting educational programs and workshops to raise awareness about fire safety, disaster preparedness, and the crucial role of women in emergency response within local communities.
  • Scholarships and Mentorship Programs: Supporting the educational and professional development of aspiring female firefighters and rescuers through scholarships and mentorship opportunities.
