DSS Operatives Storm Lagos State Assembly Amid Political Crisis

The ongoing crisis within the Lagos State House of Assembly took a dramatic turn on Monday as operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) stormed the Assembly premises.  

A heavy security presence at all entrances leading to the legislative complex, heightening tension over the unfolding situation.  

Sources confirmed that the DSS operatives took action by locking the office of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda. However, the reason for the security intervention remains unclear as of the time of filing this report.  

Despite the tension, lawmakers were reportedly in session, holding Monday’s plenary as scheduled. The development has further fueled speculations about deepening political instability within the House.
