Viju Industries Scales CSR Outreach, Empowers Over 2,000 Institutions in 2025 End-of-Year Community Engagement

Viju Industries Nigeria Ltd., one of the nation’s leading food and beverage producers, on Tuesday held its highly anticipated 2025 End-of-Year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Celebration, marking a significant expansion of its community outreach. The event, held at the company’s Lagos facility, brought together hundreds of students, school administrators, community leaders, NGOs, religious institutions, and media partners.According to the Corporate Affairs Manager, Dr. Raphael, this year’s edition represents Viju’s most expansive CSR intervention yet—reaching more than 2,000 institutions nationwide, compared to 1,000 beneficiaries in previous years.“Despite the economic challenges facing many organizations, Viju Industries continues to demonstrate unwavering commitment to society,” Dr. Raphael said. “Our goal is to uplift communities, support education, and spread joy to thousands of children and institutions. Expanding our reach to over 2,000 beneficiaries this year is both a privilege and a responsibility we do not take lightly.”The event featured a series of interactive activities designed to engage and inspire the participating schoolchildren. Students enjoyed fun games, received branded educational materials, and were treated to assorted Viju products throughout the celebration. Teachers and school representatives also received product support packages to take back to their institutions. The atmosphere was festive as children from different schools interacted freely, danced, took photographs, and participated in coordinated funfair sessions. Volunteers and staff guided the activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees.“This is more than a donation event. it is a community festival,” said a school administrator from one of the benefiting schools. “The children are happy, the gifts are thoughtful, and the experience will stay with them.”Viju Industries’ CSR programme goes beyond seasonal gifting. Dr. Jaffet, brand partner noted that the company conducts visits to schools and community organizations throughout the year to identify priority needs and provide targeted interventions.“We don’t just give products, we listen, we observe, and we support,” he explained. “Whether it is writing materials, nutritional products, or school-based assistance, we ensure that our CSR aligns with the real needs of the communities we serve.”In previous years, the programme catered to 1,000 schools, but increased demand and positive feedback prompted the expansion. Many institutions now formally request partnership with Viju Industries due to its consistency, reliability, and genuine engagement.Beneficiaries of the 2025 CSR outreach include schools, churches, NGOs, community-based organizations, hospitals, and media groups. The initiative aims to reinforce learning environments, promote youth development, and support welfare programmes across Nigeria.Students left the event wearing beaming smiles while holding their gift packs containing Viju Milk and other branded products. Teachers expressed gratitude for the additional supplies provided to their schools. As economic pressures continue to affect households and institutions, Viju Industries maintains its stance as a socially responsible and community-driven brand. The company’s ability to expand its CSR activities during these times underscores its resilience and commitment to national development.“This is who we are,” Dr. Raphael affirmed. “We will continue to give back, continue to empower, and continue to stand with Nigerians—no matter the economic climate.”About Viju Industries Nigeria LtdViju Industries Nigeria Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of high-quality food and beverage products, including the popular Viju Milk brand.
