Lagos State Boosts Agricultural Growth with Inauguration of Mid-Level Food Agro Hub
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu marked a significant milestone on December 17, 2023, by commissioning the mid-level Food Agro Hub in Idi-Oro, Mushin. Attended by key dignitaries, including Deputy Governor Dr Obafemi Hamzat and Commissioner for Agriculture Ms Abisola Olusanya, the event showcased the government’s commitment to enhancing food production and ensuring a sustainable future for Lagos.
During the unveiling ceremony, Governor Sanwo-Olu, along with key officials, inaugurated the Agro Hub, expressing optimism about its positive impact on the local community and the broader Lagos State. The hub, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, aims to support mid-level farming enterprises, fostering increased agricultural productivity, job creation, and regional food security.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by officials, took a hands-on approach, touring the facility and interacting with farmers.
