The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State Chapter, has expressed profound shock and sorrow over the sudden death of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon. Karamo Yesiro.
In an official statement issued on March 4, 2026, the Lagos APC described his passing as a painful and tragic loss to the party, particularly at a time when his energy, commitment, and passion for progressive politics were most needed.
Hon. Yesiro was recently elected into the State Executive Council of the party, where he was entrusted with the responsibility of serving as Assistant Publicity Secretary. According to the party leadership, he demonstrated dedication, loyalty, humility, and a strong belief in the ideals of the APC.
Although his tenure was brief, the party noted that he left a lasting impression on colleagues and members through his enthusiasm and readiness to serve. The Lagos APC emphasized that his contributions to the growth, unity, and stability of the party in Lagos State would not be forgotten.
On behalf of the leadership and entire membership of the party, Lagos APC Spokesman, Mogaji (Hon.) Seye Oladejo, extended heartfelt condolences to Hon. Yesiro’s family, political associates, friends, and supporters.
The party prayed for strength and comfort for his loved ones and asked God to grant his soul eternal rest.
The Lagos APC affirmed that it stands united in mourning the loss of a committed party man whose service to the progressive cause will remain remembered.
