District Governor Tolulope Senbanjo Commissions Community Health Initiative
In a remarkable demonstration of service and commitment to humanity, the Ikeja New Era Lions Club has unveiled its legacy project— the renovation and upgrading of the Oke-Aro Health Center. The project, commissioned by the District Governor of 404B2 Nigeria, Lion Tolulope Senbanjo (PMJF, NLCF), reflects the club’s dedication to improving healthcare infrastructure and access for the local community.
The unveiling ceremony, which took place during the District Governor’s official visitation to Region 3, was a moment of pride for members of the Ikeja New Era Lions Club and the wider Lions community. The project aligns with the core values of Lionism, emphasizing service, impact, and sustainable community development.

Speaking at the event, Club President, Lion Yinka Alli (FCA, NLCF), expressed deep appreciation to all members and stakeholders who contributed to the successful completion of the project.
“This appreciation goes to all Lions and everyone who has, in one way or another, contributed to the success of our core projects. Our deepest gratitude goes to our youngest and dynamic District Governor, Lion Tolulope Senbanjo, for his visitation and commissioning of our project. May the Almighty God bless and reward your labor and sacrifice to the service of humanity,” he stated.
The Oke-Aro Health Center renovation and upgrade aim to enhance medical services, providing a more conducive environment for healthcare delivery. The improvements include infrastructure upgrades, provision of essential medical equipment, and enhanced patient care facilities, all designed to strengthen community healthcare services.

In his address, District Governor Tolulope Senbanjo lauded the Ikeja New Era Lions Club for embarking on a project that aligns with the Lions Club International’s mission of humanitarian service.
