In a significant boost to educational empowerment, the Yakoyo Youth Movement has commenced its Free JAMB Classes for students preparing for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The initiative, which officially kicked off on March 22, 2025, runs every Saturday at Summit International School, Omolara Street, Yakoyo, Ojodu, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The project is proudly sponsored by Rt. Hon. Abiodun James Faleke, MHR, a federal lawmaker and strong advocate of youth development. His continued investment in grassroots education is seen as a strategic effort to bridge the gap for financially disadvantaged students aspiring to further their education.
Organized by the Yakoyo Youth Movement, the program is tailored to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the JAMB examination. Subjects offered include core UTME subjects such as English, Mathematics, and the sciences, with experienced tutors delivering comprehensive lessons weekly.
Parents, teachers, and community leaders have lauded the effort, noting that such interventions are crucial in improving educational outcomes and reducing the number of out-of-school youths.
