The Forum of Past Councilors (FPC), Ikeja Federal Constituency Chapter, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Chief (Mrs.) Olasimi Akindele-Odunmbaku, wife of Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC) member, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku.
In a condolence message jointly signed by the Chairman, Hon. Edward Aragbonfoh JP, and the General Secretary, Hon. Aladeyelu Azeez Adebayo, the forum described the late Chief (Mrs.) Odunmbaku as a distinguished public servant and an exceptional woman whose legacy of service would continue to inspire generations.
The forum noted that the deceased served with distinction as the former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ondo State, where she championed the welfare of women, children, and vulnerable groups through impactful social development initiatives.
The Forum extended its heartfelt condolences to Cardinal Odunmbaku, the entire Odunmbaku family, and the people of Ondo State, acknowledging the immense contributions of the late public servant to society.
“We share in your grief at this difficult time. No words can truly ease the pain of losing a life partner, but we want you to know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers,” the statement read.
The Forum prayed that Almighty God would grant Cardinal Odunmbaku and his family the strength to bear the loss and repose the soul of Chief (Mrs.) Olasimi Akindele-Odunmbaku in eternal peace.
