Residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency and surrounding communities are reminded that today, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, marks the final day of the ongoing Free Medical Outreach sponsored by Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.
The impactful three-day outreach, which began on Sunday, June 29, is being held at the Palace of Oba Onigbongbo, Maryland, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
The initiative, which has drawn hundreds of beneficiaries, provides completely free medical services, including:
- Outpatient consultations and free medications
- Laboratory tests (malaria, diabetes, blood screening, etc.)
- Ultrasound screenings
- Dispensing of reading glasses
- Minor and major surgeries including hernia, hydrocele, and appendectomy (conducted at General Hospital Ifako Ijaiye)
- Health education and awareness on diseases such as cancer, Lassa fever, and cholera
The outreach is carried out in collaboration with Doctors on the Move Africa, a team of experienced medical professionals dedicated to delivering community-based healthcare solutions.
Residents who are yet to benefit from the outreach are strongly encouraged to visit the venue today to take advantage of the free, life-enhancing services.
The initiative is part of Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke’s ongoing commitment to the well-being of his constituents, ensuring access to quality healthcare regardless of socio-economic status.
“This is more than a medical outreach — it’s a message of care, compassion, and service to our people,” a representative from Faleke’s Media Office stated.
The program has received wide commendation from community leaders, healthcare beneficiaries, and stakeholders who have praised the lawmaker’s people-focused leadership and responsiveness to grassroots needs.
