The AGO 2027 Movement, led by Barrister Ajala Ganiyu Olawale, has officially launched its activities in Ikeja Constituency 2 with a massive endorsement rally in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027.

The movement drew a mammoth crowd of over 2,000 supporters who marched in solidarity from LTV Agidingbi to Excellence Hotel, demonstrating strong grassroots mobilization and political engagement across the constituency.
The formal endorsement ceremony commenced at about 11:00 a.m. inside the hall of Excellence Hotel, with the presence of key stakeholders from across the state and federal constituency, including representatives from Ojodu, Ikeja, and Onigbongbo. Notable leaders in attendance included the Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, and the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Mr. Oluwasegun David Odunmbaku, alongside other apex and party leaders.

As part of efforts to deepen political awareness, the event featured educational sessions on electoral matters. Mr. Gbadegesin Ademola sensitized participants on the importance of the Permanent Voter Card (PVC), including procedures for replacement of lost or damaged cards and the need for revalidation.

Mrs. Tokunbo Robert, the second facilitator, emphasized the importance of women’s participation in politics, particularly as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
Addressing security concerns, the Area Commander of Area G Police Command, ACP Veronica Ameh, enlightened attendees on the need for vigilance and proper conduct before, during, and after elections, stressing the role of security consciousness in ensuring peaceful electoral processes.
Speaking at the event, Barrister Ajala Ganiyu Olawale, popularly known as A.G.O, clarified that the gathering was not a campaign rally but an endorsement movement. He noted that the turnout and enthusiasm reflect a renewed commitment to civic participation, especially in light of the less encouraging voter engagement recorded in the previous election.
