Ojodu LCDA 6th Legislative House: Bismillah Emerges Majority Leader as Apatira Returns as House Leader
A new era of legislative vibrancy has commenced in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) with the official inauguration of the 6th Legislative House, which features a blend of fresh leadership and experienced stewardship.
In a historic turn, Hon. Abass Shakiru Abiodun Bismillah (Ward F), a first-time Councillor, has emerged as the Majority Leader of the House—signaling the confidence placed in young and emerging voices within Ojodu’s political space.
While all members of the newly constituted House are first-time councillors, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira (Ward A) made a notable return as the only re-elected councillor and was once again elected Leader of the House, reinforcing his legislative experience and leadership continuity.

Speaking during the inauguration, Leader of the House, Hon. Apatira, reaffirmed the legislative arm’s commitment to accountability, grassroots development, and productive collaboration with the executive council.
