As preparations gather momentum for the birthday celebration of His Royal Majesty, Oba Engr. Sulaimon Adekunle Bamgbade Ayodele Edun Alaka lII, the Olofin of Isheri Mole and Adinuba of Awori Kingdom, tributes continue to pour in from traditional rulers, community leaders, and residents who have witnessed his remarkable impact over the years.
Among those who have paid glowing tribute to the revered monarch is High Chief Sodiq Adisa, the Baale of Ope-Ilu and Oba-Elect of Ope-Ilu, who described Oba Olofin-Isherimole as a visionary leader whose reign has brought unprecedented development and progress to Isheri Olofin Mole and its surrounding communities.
Speaking ahead of the monarch’s forthcoming birthday celebration and the commissioning of his newly constructed modern palace, High Chief Adisa commended the royal father’s dedication to community development, peacebuilding, and grassroots advancement.
According to him, the Olofin of Isheri Mole has demonstrated exceptional leadership within the last five years, translating his vision into tangible projects that have significantly improved the lives of his people.
“Oba Alaka II has shown what purposeful traditional leadership should represent. His reign has been marked by development, unity, and a sincere commitment to the welfare of his people. We are proud of his accomplishments and the legacy he is building for future generations,” he said.
The Baale highlighted several landmark achievements recorded under the monarch’s leadership, including the facilitation of a 48-classroom primary school in Isheri Olofin Mole, which has expanded access to quality education for children within the community.
He also praised the monarch’s role in facilitating the establishment of a High Court in Isheri Olofin Mole, a development that has enhanced access to justice and strengthened the administrative structure of the community.
Another major accomplishment credited to the royal father is the construction of a large community town hall, which now serves as a central venue for civic engagements, social gatherings, and developmental discussions.
High Chief Adisa further noted that the monarch facilitated the development of a modern stadium, creating opportunities for youth engagement, sports development, and community recreation.
Describing the newly completed palace as a symbol of cultural pride and progress, he said the commissioning of the modern palace marks another historic milestone in the reign of Oba Sulaimon and reflects the monarch’s commitment to preserving Awori heritage while embracing modernization.
Beyond infrastructural development, the Baale acknowledged the monarch’s contributions to community security through various support initiatives that have strengthened local security architecture and promoted peace across the kingdom.
He also lauded Oba Olofin for extending developmental support to neighboring communities under his traditional jurisdiction, including Ope-Ilu, Ishoga, Abosule, Mapara, Oke-Aro, and Agbado, noting that the monarch’s leadership has fostered unity and collective growth across the region.
The facilitation of a modern Primary Health Centre was also singled out as one of the monarch’s notable achievements, providing residents with improved access to healthcare services and contributing to better health outcomes within the communities.
“As a father to all, Kabiyesi has never limited development to Isheri Olofin Mole alone. His support has reached several communities under his domain. His leadership style is inclusive, compassionate, and development-oriented,” High Chief Adisa added.
He congratulated the monarch on his forthcoming birthday and the commissioning of the new palace, praying for continued good health, wisdom, and longevity for the royal father.
The celebration is expected to attract traditional rulers, government officials, community leaders, and well-wishers from across Ogun State, Lagos State, and beyond, as they gather to honour a monarch whose reign has become synonymous with progress, unity, and sustainable community development.
