Fidelity Bank Launches “Bundles of Joy”

Support Children with Special Needs, Families

In a bold step toward fostering inclusivity, Fidelity Bank Plc has unveiled the “Bundles of Joy” initiative, a comprehensive programme designed to support children with special needs and their families. The initiative focuses on providing enriching activities for the children while addressing the emotional and psychological needs of their parents and caregivers.

The inaugural session took place over the weekend at a dedicated facility in Lekki, Lagos, and drew widespread acclaim from participants. Fidelity Bank’s Divisional Head of Brand and Communications, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, welcomed attendees and underscored the bank’s commitment to creating meaningful impact within its communities.

“‘Bundles of Joy’ is a vision of our Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe,” said Nwagboh. “The programme seeks to foster an inclusive society by supporting children with special needs. Today’s session offers the children engaging activities to enhance their mobility and social skills, while their parents and caregivers receive tailored workshops to better equip them with essential skills and resources.”

Participants expressed gratitude for the initiative, praising its innovative approach and immediate impact.

“This is a wonderful programme,” said Joy Daberechi, a parent who attended the session. “The facilitators have provided valuable insights on caring for my daughter. I deeply appreciate Fidelity Bank for this opportunity, even though I haven’t yet opened an account. I encourage other parents to take advantage of this initiative.”

Deborah Eromokhodion, another participant, shared a similar sentiment: “It’s been a heartwarming experience. The workshops with specialist facilitators have provided practical tips on helping our children achieve milestones. Meeting other parents has also been incredibly supportive.”

The “Bundles of Joy” programme is part of Fidelity Bank’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, which prioritize health and social welfare. The first session concluded with gift presentations to the children and parents, leaving smiles and renewed hope among attendees.

Families interested in participating can register online at [www.fidelitybank.ng/bundlesofjoy/](http://www.fidelitybank.ng/bundlesofjoy/). Registration requires details about the child and their specific needs. Fidelity Bank plans to organize special outings for participants beginning in January 2025.

Through “Bundles of Joy,” Fidelity Bank Plc continues to demonstrate its dedication to building an inclusive society and empowering communities across Nigeria.
