DANGOTE GROUP NAMED PREMIER PARTNER FOR INTRA-AFRICAN TRADE FAIR 2025
Africa’s foremost industrial conglomerate, Dangote Group, has been unveiled as the Official Premier Partner for the highly anticipated Intra-African Trade Fair 2025 (IATF2025), scheduled to hold in Algiers, Algeria, from September 4 to 10, 2025.
Organised by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC) and the AfCFTA Secretariat, the biennial fair serves as a continental platform to drive intra-African trade, connect businesses, and explore investment opportunities across multiple sectors. The 2025 edition, hosted by the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, is expected to attract over 2,000 exhibitors and facilitate trade and investment deals worth over US\$44 billion.
Speaking on the new partnership, Mrs. Kanayo Awani, Executive Vice President for Intra-African Trade at Afreximbank, said:

Dangote Group, founded in Nigeria in 1978, has evolved into one of Africa’s largest and most diversified conglomerates, with operations spanning cement, fertilisers, petrochemicals, food production, energy, logistics, and port operations. With a 2024 annual turnover of US\$9.6 billion, the Group is actively reshaping Africa’s industrial landscape through value-added manufacturing and infrastructure investment across 11 African countries.
IATF2025 will host thousands of continental and global business leaders, policymakers, and investors. It promises a dynamic mix of exhibitions, trade forums, networking events, and sectoral showcases aligned with the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
