Mohamed Fouani, along with three Lebanese nationals, was kidnapped while traveling by boat in Lagos yesterday.
The names of the other captives remain unconfirmed. The group was journeying from Apapa to Victoria Island through Lagos waters when the kidnappers struck. Reports indicate that the abductors have demanded a ransom of $1.5 million.
This incident aligns with a prophecy made by Primate Elijah Ayodele in May, in which he warned of an impending increase in kidnapping operations involving high-profile individuals. He urged security forces to stay vigilant and adopt new strategies to combat terrorism.
