Residents of Banjo Street in Oke-Ira, Ogba, have applauded the completion of a major road rehabilitation and solar street light project facilitated by the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Abiodun Faleke.

The project, completed under the community service initiative of Rt. Hon. Faleke, includes the rehabilitation of Banjo Street and the installation of modern solar-powered street lights aimed at improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life within the area.

According to a statement released by the Media Office of Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, the intervention forms part of the lawmaker’s continuous commitment to delivering democratic dividends and impactful development projects across Ikeja Federal Constituency.

The rehabilitation project is expected to significantly improve road accessibility, reduce transportation challenges, enhance security, and support commercial activities within the community. Residents and business owners are also expected to benefit from improved connectivity and a safer environment created by the solar-powered lighting system.

Speaking on the development, Rt. Hon. Faleke reiterated his dedication to people-oriented governance and sustainable infrastructural development. He emphasized that governance should directly impact the lives of the people through visible projects capable of addressing community needs.

The people of Banjo Street, Oke-Ira, Ogba, expressed appreciation for what they described as responsive leadership and effective representation, noting that the project reflects Faleke’s longstanding commitment to grassroots development and community advancement.

The latest intervention adds to several developmental projects facilitated by the federal lawmaker across communities within Ikeja Federal Constituency as part of efforts to improve public infrastructure and living conditions for residents.
