TINUBU DENY KNOWING ME ON CHRISTMAS DAY, PROPHET IKURU LAMENT 

Renowned cleric and ardent supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, has expressed deep disappointment over what he described as an “insulting cold reception” from Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, on Christmas Day.  

According to the prophet, who has been a vocal defender of the president’s political journey, he reached out to Seyi to convey Christmas greetings but was met with a dismissive response. “I called him to wish him a merry Christmas, but he told me he didn’t know me,” Prophet Ikuru stated. “I felt deeply insulted because we know each other. Even if he wasn’t in a good mood, denying knowing me on Christmas Day was unnecessary and excruciating.”  

Reflecting on his contributions, Prophet Ikuru recalled his unwavering support for President Tinubu, even in the face of criticism and personal threats. The prophet became a prominent figure during the president’s campaign, prophesying Tinubu’s eventual victory and facing backlash for his declarations. Notably, he survived an assassination attempt during this period, further cementing his loyalty to the Tinubu family.  

The incident has sparked mixed reactions, with some supporters sympathizing with the prophet’s sentiments, while others urge restraint in drawing public attention to personal exchanges. The prophet’s prior prophecies, including “Nobody Can Stop Tinubu from Becoming Next President” (November 2022) and “I See Angels Congratulating Tinubu in 2023 Elections” (October 2022), remain notable markers of his advocacy for the current administration.
