Tony Elumelu Foundation Open Applications 2025 Entrepreneurship Programmes
The Tony Elumelu Foundation, TEF, Africa’s foremost advocate for entrepreneurship, has announced the commencement of applications for its 2025 Entrepreneurship Programmes. African entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas or existing ventures not older than five years are invited to apply for world-class training, expert mentoring, and non-refundable seed capital.
This year’s programme highlights businesses leveraging Artificial Intelligence , AI and green initiatives, with eligibility open to applicants aged 18 and above. Applications are to be submitted via TEFConnect, the foundation’s proprietary digital platform, between January 1 and March 1, 2025.
Additionally, the foundation is offering targeted initiatives in collaboration with international partners:
IYBA-WE4A Programme : Focused on empowering women entrepreneurs in Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, and Togo, this programme supports green business ideas or existing enterprises. It is funded in partnership with the European Union and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
Aguka Ideation Programme : Aimed at young Rwandan entrepreneurs aged 18–30, this initiative, in collaboration with UNDP Rwanda and Rwanda’s Ministry of Youth and Arts, provides $3,000 in seed capital to nurture innovative ideas into viable businesses.
