The ongoing Free Medical Outreach sponsored by Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, has entered its latest phase today, Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Ikeja Barracks Health Centre.
This phase of the health intervention program will run for three days — from Sunday, June 29 to Tuesday, July 1, 2025, with activities scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
The initiative, which has already impacted thousands across the constituency, continues to deliver on its promise of accessible and quality healthcare to the people, free of charge.
Medical Services Available:
- Outpatient consultations and dispensing of medications
- Laboratory tests including malaria, diabetes, and blood screenings
- Ultrasound diagnostics
- Free reading glasses
- Minor and major surgeries (including hernias, hydrocele, appendectomy)
- Health education and awareness on key diseases such as Lassa fever, cancers, cholera, HIV/AIDS, and more
Surgical Procedures:
All surgeries, including general, gynecological, eye (cataract), and goiter operations, are being conducted at the General Hospital, Ifako-Ijaiye, in collaboration with Doctors on the Move Africa, the medical consultants overseeing the outreach.
This initiative underscores Hon. Faleke’s continued dedication to the well-being of his constituents, bridging gaps in access to medical care and promoting preventive health.
