DIG Abiodun Alabi Honored at Pullout Ceremony, Birthday Celebration, Book Launch

The Nigeria Police Force celebrated the illustrious career of DIG Abiodun Alabi (Rtd) with a grand pullout ceremony and birthday celebration in Lagos, a dual occasion that highlighted his unwavering dedication and extraordinary service to the nation.  

The event also marked the launch of “Against All Odds”, a book written in his honor, chronicling his inspiring journey and notable achievements throughout his career. The publication serves as a testament to DIG Alabi’s resilience, integrity, and unwavering commitment to law enforcement and national development.  

Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, was represented by AIG Fayoade of Zone 2, who conducted the book review. In his remarks, AIG Fayoade commended DIG Alabi’s exceptional leadership, emphasizing the importance of preserving his legacy for future generations.  

“DIG Alabi exemplifies what it means to serve with distinction. This book will not only inspire officers in the force but also serve as a guide for anyone seeking to overcome challenges in their career and personal life,” AIG Fayoade noted during his review.
